Last week we talked about this relief to be auctioned at Fernando Durán. Billed as a work of Gaspar Becerra, measures 41 x 62 cm. From here, we raised the possibility that the iconography is not that of the Magdalena.
is actually an allegory of the Faith Magdalene as a penitent, although often appearing half-naked, presents a different iconographic attributes, such as the skull and, most characteristically, a small vial ointment or perfume.

La Fe, which is sometimes blindfolded (referring to "is blind"), mostly from the seventeenth century (image left, anonymous seventeenth Genoese Cathedral of Toledo ), is speaking the cross symbols (not a crucifix, usually) and a chalice, which in this case appears with a Holy Form at the top. It, along with Hope and Charity, one of the three theological virtues.
